	Women and MS Workshop The MS Association holds this workshop once a year. This gathering is for women only. Our guest speakers for previous Women and MS workshops are Dr. Mariko Kita and Dr. Claire Yang. Both doctors have a special interest in MS and focus their remarks on issues and concerns specific to women living with MS. Dr. Kita is a neurologist and the director of Virginia Mason’s Multiple Sclerosis Center. Dr. Yang is a distinguished urologist at the University of Washington Medical Center. The doctors present medical information such as: diagnosis and prognosis, treatment and therapies, and current research on issues specific to women with MS. There is a questions and answer session at the end of the workshop. We offer this opportunity for women only so that you can get direct and candid answers to your questions and hear from other women as to what issues they are confronting. The doctors will present current medical information such as diagnosis and prognosis, treatment and therapies, and current research.
